Who we are

Ledford Contracting Group, Inc. is a family owned and operated Construction business founded by me, Stephen Ledford. I'm married to my lovely wife Ashley, with whom I have two teenage children. When I met my wife in 2001, I was 18 years old. I quickly learned that her Father owned Income Properties, and in an effort to impress him, I began to help him with virtually any project or repairs that were needed. When he purchased a new property or tenants would move out, I would make repairs, paint, and bring the place back to life. My plan was simple, I was going to do everything I could to show him I was son-in-law material. But along the way something happened I didn't anticipate. By the age of 20, I began to learn the business of Real Estate, as well as develop a real appreciation for the transformation of a space. I purchased my first Income Property at 25 yrs old and began acquiring more properties after that. I later obtained my General Contractors License and established Admired Builders, Inc. which was later changed to Ledford Contracting Group, Inc. to pursue my passion for remodeling with others and help clients fulfill their dreams. While I take on "new build" projects, from time to time, I have always had a strong focus and passion for remodeling. The transformation of a space that most people, even contractors, would consider a lost cause has always excited and motivated me. I love to take that outdated and sometimes frightening space and turn it into an area that makes people say, "Wow, this can't be the same place!"
